What badge printing equipment can I rent in Singapore?

EventNook rents out the equipment for an event registration counter in Singapore: Zebra thermal badge printers, iPads with stands, a 4G mobile Wi-Fi router, MacBook laptops and badge stock, together with ribbon rolls, chargers and cables. The equipment is configured and tested for your event before it is set up at the venue.

Which badge printer do you rent out?

We rent Zebra thermal printers for on-demand name badge printing. Each guest's name, company and QR code is printed onto the badge in about 2 seconds at check-in. Ink ribbon rolls are supplied with the printers.

Can a Zebra thermal printer print badges in colour?

No. Thermal printing is black only and on the front of the badge only. For a full-colour branded badge, the badge stock is pre-printed with your event artwork and the printer adds each guest's details in black on the day.

What badge stock works with the rented printers?

We supply badge stock cut to feed through the rented printers, in art card or tear-resistant material, in sizes such as 4 Γ— 6 in, 4 Γ— 5 in, 4 Γ— 3 in and 3.5 Γ— 5 in, with rounded corners and a lanyard hole. It can be plain or pre-printed in full colour with your design.

How many printers and iPads do I need for my event?

It depends on the number of guests and how quickly they arrive. As a guide, our standard onsite packages use 1 registration counter for 100 guests, 2 counters for 200 guests and 3 counters for 300 guests, with one printer and one iPad per counter. Our onsite registration planner works out counters for your arrival peak.

Do I need Wi-Fi at the venue?

Not necessarily. We can supply a 4G mobile Wi-Fi router so the registration counters have their own connection and do not depend on the venue's guest Wi-Fi.

Can I rent the equipment and run registration with my own team?

Yes. You can run check-in with your own team on rented equipment, use your own devices, or add our onsite supervisor for setup, testing and standby support. The EventNook kiosk app can also run on devices you already have.

Do you set up the equipment and provide onsite support?

Yes. For events in Singapore we deliver, set up and test the equipment at the venue before the event, brief your registration staff, and can provide a supervisor on standby during the event.

Is equipment rental available outside Singapore?

Equipment rental is available for events in Singapore only.
